New Acropolis Museum

In its first five years of life, celebrated last June, the Acropolis Museum succeeded in being recognized amongst the three best museums in the world. So, if you are in Athens, a visit to the Museum of the Acropolis is a must.

The Museum offers its visitors a remarkable walk through history – between the masterpieces of the Archaic and Classical periods, but also above the remains of the ancient neighborhood of Athens. Here you will see, at an arm's length, some of the most emblematic works of antiquity. Replicating the natural light of the Acropolis, the Museum's masterful architecture allows you to view simultaneously the exhibits and the place from where they originated.

Following your visit in the Acropolis Museum you may scroll around the oldest part of Athens, Plaka, or you may choose to stay at the 700 square meter public terrace of the Museum Café & Restaurant, have a drink and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the historic hill of Acropolis.
